Grain

Qishan is one of the main grain regions of Zhaoyuan City. The total food supplies is 21 million KG a year with the total value of RMB ￥4.4 hundred million. The peanut’s farmland is 2,700 hectares including 540 hectares which had passed the international certificate of no-pollution products. The total product of peanut is 12 million KG. The wheat, corn, peanut and soybean all grow well. The 5 wheat process factories can produce 20,000 tons flour yearly which value is bout RMB ￥10 million. The 8 peanut process factories can produce 50,000 tons peanut products yearly which value is about RMB ￥20 million. There are 3 peanut process factories which export 20,000 tons peanuts abroad.

Fruit

The fruit fields are 1,400 hectares producing 20 million KG no-pollution fruits a year. The “Luguan” brand of red fuji apple was named “Famous Fruit of China”. The 800 hectars of chestnut field produce 5 million KG chestnuts a year. The 4 fruit keep-fresh and process enterprises process 10 million KG fruit yearly which value is RMB ￥30 million. All the juice products of Jinjinchao Fruit&Vegitable Food Co., Ltd are exported to America, Australia, Ally of Europe, etc..

Key Industries

The key industries of Qishan include medical equipments, fruit juice, toughened glass, peanut products, power cable, asbestos. The total products’ value of the main companies is RMB ￥420 million a year, and the tax is RMB ￥45 million. The products of medical equipments, fruit&vegitable juice, peanut, asbestos, power cable and toughened glass are sold well in Japan, Canada, Australia, Southeast of Asia, Middle East, etc..
